Sweet potato is very healthy for us. I know some people who goes to the gym regularly that eats sweet potato during breakfast and other meals. Sweet Potato are rich in complex carbohydrates, dietary fiber, beta carotene, vitamin C, and vitamin B6 Considering fiber content, complex carbohydrates, protein, vitamins A and C, iron, and calcium, the sweet potato ranked highest in nutritional value.
Sweet potato can be cook in different many ways. You can boil it, fry, bake, you can make banana chips and candies out of it. In the Philippines, we also eat the leaves by boiling it and mix with ginger, onions, vinegar, salt and pepper. Then we make juice out of the water from boiling leaves and simply add kalamansi or lemon and sugar.
