Looks Like Philippine Mango...
It just look like from the Philippines but this mango is actually from Haiti which I believe also a tropical country. Anyway, mango is very delicious and nutritious fruit which contains beta-carotene, vitamin A, Vitamin C, vitamin E, Selenium, B-complex (anti-stress) vitamins, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, selenium, Folic acid (folate), and zinc.
I have never heard this before but do you know that people who eat mango have more sun tolerance? Mango is also a good source of dietary fiber. They also contain some protein and amino acids and it is very low in Saturated Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium.

6 Diet To Avoid
So many people around the world encounter a problem of obesity. And most of them are really trying to weight loss. Some undergo surgeries and some buy and take products that are offered in the wide market. But people should be aware about those products because it might cause complications to their health.
According to Joy Bauer, M.S., R.D., C.D.N. there's no short-term fix for long lasting weight loss.
Learn to identify these six red flags:
1. Diets that promote or promise drastic weight loss - When you start a diet, you can potentially drop a lot of weight during the first two weeks (some of which will be water weight). However, if you lose more than two pounds per week in the weeks that follow, you run the risk of losing "muscle mass," and your metabolism will slow down in response. That's why true health experts advocate losing weight slowly and gradually - so you melt away fat while sparing precious muscle.
2. Diets that claim to work because of special supplements, creams, or potions - no diet or exercise required! Or diets that make you buy mega supplements in order to follow the program. If it sounds too good to be true, it is!
3. Diets that differ entirely from the way you currently eat (or like to eat) - If a plan is incompatible with your lifestyle, chances are slim you'll stick with it.
4. Diets that are less than 1,000 calories - Too difficult to sustain and can often leave you cranky, irritable, and with a bad headache. Not to mention hungry and lethargic.
5. Diets that claim they are effortless - There's no such animal. Losing weight takes focus and effort. Period.
6. Diets that cut out entire food groups, or focus on only a few foods - Not realistic for the long haul; the sign of a plan you're soon to go off.

Piano for Preschoolers
During vacation, most parents would send their kids to special summer classes like gymnastics, swimming lesson, camping, or join different basket ball league and other sports league. But there are also some parents who want their kids to learn more different stuff like how to playpiano and anything about music.
If you are one among those parents who have no musical background but want your kids to learn about how to play piano then let them get a piano lesson at a very young age. As most studies found out that “learning to play the piano as a preschooler actually boosts intelligence. I know a site that offers Piano Lessons for preschoolers.

Back To School Tips
I remember when I was a kid, I would be happy to hear when my teacher announced there will be holiday on certain day which means no school day for that day. I love it when it's about to have a Christmas vacation and Summer vacation. And of course the transitional period from summer vacation to school opening also makes me excited. But I read and article that says "not all kids are excited to go back to school after summer vacation. I understand it because it's hard to change swimsuit to backpack lol. It' also says that "Transitioning from summertime fun and freedom to classroom structure and stress can be a big adjustment". To help your tween handle the change, be positive and supportive.
Here are a few suggestions that parents have shared with us that can make a difference in your child’s outlook:
1. Be positive about school. Talk to your children about the good things that happen at school. Tell them about your positive experiences.
2. Set the expectation that education is important and that your children need school. They should be made aware of your expectation as early as possible.
3. Be understanding when they tell you about their frustrations. Expect your children to feel some stress related to subjects, tests, peers, assignments, and even teachers.
4. Listen to what your kids tell you about school. Sometimes all they want is for you to hear about what their day was like and what’s going on in their lives. Be supportive and attentive.
5. Visit the school. See what happens during the school day. Chat with administrators and teachers.
6. Praise your children’s effort and their accomplishments.

Infinity Shoes
Men mostly wonder why most women love to collect different kinds, types, styles and color of shoes and sandalseven though they don’t wear it often. Well I think it’s a girl thing, it’s our nature to fall in love with new styles and favorite color of shoes when we go visit to store either online or not. Most women end up of getting more shoes every time they shop or visit a store. And there’s nothing wrong with it as long as you can afford to buy it. I remember the former first lady in the Philippines who had thousand pair of shoes.
Anyway, if you guys are looking for great shoes that you can give for your family or friends birthday or any other occasions then go to InfinityShoes.com, a website that offers different styles and colors of high quality shoes at a very reasonable price.
On my spare time, I always search online for new styles. As a matter of fact I am here at InfinityShoes.com staring at their gorgeous pairs of shoes and sandals. And the picture that I post here is one of my favorite, I am tempted to get this one really bad. I think I would get this because it would match on my shorts that I am going to wear this weekend.
Infinity Shoes offers different brands of shoes like seychelles shoes , minnetonka boots, tsubo shoes, Clarks brand shoes, Eric Michael shoes, Keds, Merells and many more.

You May Be Married to a Filipina if . . .
her friends are named Chinky, Girlie, Boy and Bimbo and you are not allowed to smirk.
your refrigerator is always full but you cannot find any food that you recognize.
most of the decorations in your house are made of wicker.
all her relatives think your name is Joe.
your house isn't on fire, but there is a very charred fish right on top of the stove burner.
even the ketchup tastes weird . . . very weird.
you throw a party and everyone is fighting to chop the leathery skin off a dead pig.
all your kids have 4-5 middle names.
your in-laws call you "that white guy."
you try to call her up on the phone and someone tells
you "for a while" and you actually understand what they mean.
she says ate her peer is dareful.... and you actually understand what she means.
she sweeps with something that witches usually fly around on.
the rice cooker is on 24 hours a day and uses up 50% of your electric and food budget.
all her pajamas look like they were worn by the Dalai Lama until they got too faded.
she gets really excited by sucking the fat out of pig knees.
your daughter gets her ears pierced when she's 2 minutes old but your sons are not circumcised until they turn 21.
all your postage bills instantly double.
the only "white meat" she likes is You, and that's if you're lucky . . .
her favorite sauce is called patis, Americans call it turpentine.
she can eat and talk at the same time, in fact that's her specialty!
her favorite meal is leftovers
she goes to the movies just for the AC.
all the vegetables she buys at the Filipino store look like they were grown at Chernobyl.
your in-law's first visit lasted 5 years.
she washes her hair with a bucket and her car with a broom.
she uses an umbrella even if its not raining.
her favorite book (she has 3 copies) is "1001 New Recipes for Pig Parts You Were Gonna Throw Out"
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST: you are pretty proud of
yourself because you think you snagged up for yourself
some unique, rare, tropical goddess type until you go
to the Philippines and can't tell her apart from
anyone else in the whole country (unless she's taller
than 5'1", then it's a bit easier).

Fresh Fruits and Vegetables
This fresh fruits and vegetables reminds me of my parents in law. They used to bring me to farmers market every time they have free time. And every time hubby and I go to their house, they always send us either fresh fruits or vegetables from farmers market. I love their fruits and veges because it's so fresh and delicious as it is a fresh produce from local farms, ranches, dairies and nurseries. I remember going to farmers market

Different World Different Procedures...
Today, I have once again experience another difference between American life and Filipino Life. When I woke up this morning, my husband told me that he needs to go to the emergency room in the city hospital this morning because his back pain is not getting any better. The doctor in the clinic yesterday told him that if the pain won't go away with the medicine she gave him, he should go to the emergency to get further test that there clinic don't have.
And so we did this morning... I have been in the emergency room before when we were visited my father in law in Harris Methodist Hospital which is bigger than the city hospital. Anyway, first thing that came into my mind when hubby said he needs to go to the emergency was that he is just going to have blood test, urine samples and x-tray.
I got scared when the nurse told hubby to change into hospital dress for I didn’t expect it. I thought they are just going to do simple procedures… Anyway, I got more scared when the doctor told us that they will be giving him IV, dextrose, pain medicine and get some blood sample from him. They also did ECG, X-ray, give him contrast drink for CAT Scan etc etc etc... That's the emergency here... Isn't it so much different from us? Well to be honest I really don't know exactly what our emergency room in the Philippines look like because "pwera buyag" I haven't been in the hospital because I am sick or something...
I have been hoping and praying that there's no major problem at all. Thanks God doctor said everything is negative. Hubby just have a muscle spasm at the lower part of the back. They give him muscle pain medicine so hopefully hubby's back will quit hurting soon...

Chicken Wings
This is the Chicken wings I fried last Wednesday. It turns out great and hubby loves it. All I did was marinate the chicken with soy sauce for about 30 minutes. While marinating, I mixed flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and bread crumbs. After marinating, I heated oil on the pan and fried the chicken wings and that's it... it's good when you served it with hot and chili ketchup.

Birthday Dinner
My husband schedule change that make him home later than what he used to. Before he will be home by 5:00 o'clock in the afternoon but now he will be home 7:35 to 8:00 pm depending on the traffic. That's the reason why I just decided to make our own dinner on my birthday rather than dine out. He will be tired by the time he gets home so I don't want him to bring me out just because it's my birthday. I cooked some and prepared it on the table, by the time he got home, everything was almost ready. He said he didn't know I am making dinner... he said he was about to take me out for my birthday. I told him it's ok and that we just do it the next day with her mother...

A Gift For Myself
I have been working online for a while now and haven’t got anything special for myself until this past few days. I finally made up my mind to get me a Laptop after more than a month checking it online. My first choice was the “Pink Sony 14.1” Laptop” but I’ve changed my mind when hubby told me that 14.1 might be a little smaller to use everyday. Actually I was so determined to get the smaller one since it’s a lot cheaper compare to 15.4”. I am just lucky when I found that Sony have sale two days after I made my order which is only free shipping. I canceled my first order right away and just reorder a new one. Imagine I save more than 300bucks for this one because of sale… I think it's really meant for me have this because I would have never seen the sale if it's not for me lol...

Rebit - PC BackUp
It was October last year when I got some computer problem that ends me into reformatting my PC. I am aware that all the documents and pictures save in my computer will be wipe out once I start reformatting. So I made some PC backup and was confident that everything would be saved. But to my dismay, I found out that some of my files were gone. I wasn't a happy camper that time.
That’s why now that my laptop is new, I am making sure I have a good PC backup device to use. I found a good device called Rebit.

Home Theater System
Little by little, hubby and I were able to do some updates in the house. We planted some plants outside, painted the house, we bought dining table and cabinet shelves and now we are thinking of getting home theater seats that we can put on the game room since it’s totally empty. I keep searching online for the best home theater-seating site. I can’t make up my mind because everything I have seen are quite above the budget we set. I continue to search hoping to find one that also offers high quality product at a reasonable price. As I continued searching, I finally found the home theater sconces that I want at same budget we have save for.

Healthy Breakfast
Everyone of us have chances of gaining weight no matter how much or less food you eat. It said that the most important thing to put in our mind is how much energy we burn out every single day. Well as I stay home wife, I do nothing but some cleaning, cooking and spend more time in front of the computer. No wonder I am gaining weight. Plus I also read in the book that too much or less sleep would also make you gain weight. That's why I am now trying to eat healthy and exercise to burn some fats which is really bad for our body.
