Barney shows is really a good TV show for your kids. My husband used to get annoyed hearing barney shows everyday but my daughter sure loves “Barney”. She’s almost 3 and she still loves watching barney shows. There were times where she didn’t watch Barney for a month or so as she learns to watch other shows like Dora, Blues Clues, Super Why and other tv shows for kids but never forgotten barney at all. This past few months, she begun watching barney again.

We woke up today and she asked me if I can turn on “Barney” for her. Glad to have netflix as I can turn on barney for her when it’s not time for “barney” shows on KERA yet. It’s nice as she can learn stuff while mommy is trying to finish cleaning while she’s watching and learning at the same time. It keeps her busy while waiting for me to get done.

Being a true blooded Filipina, I must admit of being a cameraholic who takes pictures on anything that interest me. I guess it’s because I grew up with it. I remember when I was a kid, my grandmother never failed to buy a film on every special occasions. Those were the times where there was no such thing as digital camera. I am so glad though that grandma did that as it was all a great childhood memories that we can cherish forever.

But anyway as technology has gotten better, digital cameras sprung out in the market just like a dust in the wind. With that being said, digital cameras are now too many to decide on which you should buy. I don’t know exactly what’s the best camera as to me, best camera means it comes with all the stuff you need and want, something you are happy and satisfied with. In short, best camera is not only about brands but it’s about what you need it for and what satisfy you, picture wise.

Whether or not I can afford to buy the most expensive camera in the world, I am simply happy to get best pictures of my daughters milestone, good enough that can last a life time, a memory that I could never do or experience again…A wonderful milestone that I want to cherish for the rest of my life.

Christmas is the day we celebrate the birth of our savior Jesus Christ. I remember those time when I was in the Philippines where you can feel the spirit of Christmas months before December. People gets excited when ber-months start. Stores and other establishments starts decorating/selling Christmas decorations from lights, trees and many more.

I so miss those time I celebrated Christmas in the Philippines. I can’t believe its been 5 Christmas passed by already. I hope by next year, my family will be able to celebrate Christmas in the Philippines, in our hometown where I was born, grew up and finish high-school.

I get so emotional these time of the year as I can’t help but miss celebrating Christmas with my family back in the Philippines. It also makes me miss my grandmother even more. Just glad to have a sister here in Texas where I can celebrate Christmas with, together with our own family especially with our beautiful children.

Every store in every place have different ways of attracting people to come and buy a lot of stuff. No matter what store you go this week, store will be pack up and crowded. Not the best time to shop around especially when you have kids.

But don’t worry though as you can continue your Christmas shopping online where you don’t have to drive and won’t have to deal with so much crowd. Online shopping can bring you anywhere without driving. We used to live in a complex surrounded by different business. For almost eight years, I witness those hardworking people who works in a metal building company in front of the house we rented. I love the idea of using metal in making a building or a house because it is really sturdy.

If time comes where hubby and I are ready to build our own house or business, I love to use the metal buildings especially here in Texas where foundations can get cracked over time because of the temperature where it gets so dry especially on summer time. I heard that a well made metal buildings can prevent leaks and corrosions.

Most metal buildings I’ve seen are made strong which can stands strong winds, snows, earthquakes and other types of calamities.

Christmas won’t be the same without pastries and other desserts on the table. We have all the excuse to pig out and forget our diets. I think it’s completely ok to eat sugars on this time of the year. I know it sounds easy as it is but Christmas is one of the most stressful time too if we don’t plan it. It would be easier to just buy and order some of the foods so you would have plenty of time to do other stuff.

I am just lucky to have a sister who can help me with the cooking. She is good both in cooking and baking and I believe she should try to apply for Pastry/Baker Chef Jobs. I know she will do good at it. Hopefully she will start checking the website I gave her and start applying for baker jobs. I am sure she will enjoy that line of job. It’s like hitting two birds in one stone. She will earn money while doing what she loves to do.

I so miss this fruit that we used to have in front of my grandma’s house. We get so much that we even end up cooking it with sugar to preserve it and eat it with bread…just like peanut-butter sandwich.

But no matter how much I miss Jackfruit, I didn’t try to buy some when we where at the asian market. For like 10 pieces or so, it will cost you almost 4 bucks. Sorry but I ain’t paying that much for a very small amount of jackfruit even though it was really tempting. But then I also realize it’s not really bad to indulge on something you crave so much once in a while.
